The surface level topics are a lot more common and well-known, while the ones deeper down. The iceberg is split into layers that delve deeper and deeper into Super Mario 64s anomalies, easter eggs and past. Shadows of the Damned was released originally in 2011 for the PS3 and Xbox 360. The Super Mario 64 iceberg is an image that circulated along the internet and associates with the Super Mario 64 conspiracy rabbit hole. If consoles were to go completely digital, like the PS5 Digital Edition and rumored Xbox Lockhart, there would be no option to snag a physical copy when games get taken down completely from digital stores. Enjoy the classic 3D platformer game in your browser, with controller support and save function. However, it certainly stinks when a beloved game is no longer available to purchase. The convenience and ease of access are probably top on the list for reasons why people enjoy it. There is certainly a case for digital-only consoles and purchasing. only mario game that comes close to mario 64 in terms of control is odyssey imo. he is way too floaty in galaxy and has really bad feeling momentum and sunshine has mario going from 0-100 instantly, feels super weird. Games can also often go on sale right before being shut down, this was the case for DuckTales Remastered before it was delisted. i think mario feels better to control in 64 than he does in sunshine and especially galaxy. When it comes to Shadows of the Damned, it could be that EA no longer wants the game to be available, or that some sort of licensing agreement ended. It's a trend that seems to happen semi-often for the Forza games. The racer was taken down thanks to car licensing deals being expired. Forza Motorsport 6 also was delisted last year.
